Godavari Gaatha: Youth Open Mic celebrates river, roots, and local expression
On 28th June 2025, The Godavari Initiative, in collaboration with Open Mic Nashik, hosted Godavari Gaatha — a youth open mic event that brought together over 20 performers and 100+ attendees at Cafe Lil bit More, Nashik. The event created space for young people to express their love for the Godavari river, the city, and their roots through poetry, music, stories, and stand-up. From heartfelt memories to humorous reflections, the evening sparked meaningful conversations and a strong sense of community — all anchored in a shared connection with the river.
